Glenn "Corky" Cook joined Joe Kidd and The Gash in 2005. Corky is Joe's younger brother, an obvious choice to be in the band but at the time he joined he had never picked up a bass. Corky was playing guitar and singing in Fire At The Lake when Joe Kidd and The Gash was forming. Joe was having problems finding a bassist that was down for the cause so he asked Corky, and he agreed. For months they practiced trying to get the bass lines down. Corky took to the instrument quite well and served as the perfect right hand man for JK+G's lives shows until 2007. All though he no longer plays bass in the band he remains an honorary member and stays involved with band activities.
